Magickal (and Pagan) Renaissance Faire

Postby GodOfBiscuits » Tue May 05, 2009 6:23 pm

So if I were running a magick-oriented, unofficially-Pagan Renaissance Faire this July...

...if you were going, what would you like to see there?

My goal is to make it a "reality" Faire, not a "Fantasy" Faire - that is, I don't plan to have people dressing up as elves or orcs, but I -do- plan to try to bring in authentic magickal traditions of old England, the Celts, etc.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

If your going to go with a magic(k) oriented theme, I say do lots of weird ceremonial stuff with fun symbols drawn out everywhere. Though I've never been a fan of the actual practice, the aesthetics of the stuff has always been appealing to me.

Absolutely, positively no "k" in magic! That's my one request. :)

And PLEASE don't have it on the second weekend of a month.

That's a really excellent way of putting it!
