Disabling Guest Posting

I'm wondering what the feeling of guest posting is. I realize that forcing people to register just to post can be annoying, but considering the spoofing abuse of that feature, not just recently, but in the past, I'm wondering if it should be just turned off. Perhaps the board has grown in such popularity that such a thing is now required. (I've seen how BAD anon posting can get on other boards, and I really don't want the same to happen here). So I'm curious to everyone's opinions. Thanks!

Well, that solves that one. I just disabled guest posting. It only takes one bad apple to spoil the bunch. Guess the board has reached a new plateau by attracting a new low.
